We are delighted to welcome Louise Sinnett to our team. Louise joined us on the 1st September as part time Community Engagement & Fundraising Officer. Having grown up in Camberley and attended local schools, Louise has always felt connected to the Surrey Heath area. Later, she ran a mobile hairdressing business which allowed her to deepen her knowledge and connection within the community. Having moved to Muscat, Oman, where she lived for 17 years, with three young children, she understands the challenges families can face, especially without local support. It provided her with valuable insight into different cultures and strengthened her empathy for those feeling isolated or adjusting to new environments.
Having returned to the UK during the pandemic to help care for elderly parents, Louise has worked in a few different schools, invigilating and, more recently, working in a Sixth form, helping to support students.
Louise is currently a Registration Officer, officiating weddings, civil partnerships and British Citizenship Ceremonies, something she really enjoys. She has just joined us in our role of Community Engagement and Fundraising Officer and is really excited to be part of our team. She is passionate about making a positive difference and supporting the community however she can.
