Help Us Support Local Families – Join Our Team
At Home-Start Surrey Heath, we support families with young children and we need your support to be there for them.
We’re looking for two very special roles to join our community:
Safeguarding Trustee
We are seeking a committed and compassionate individual to join our Board of Trustees, with a lead role in safeguarding.
You’ll help us make sure every family we support is safe, heard, and protected. This role is vital in guiding our safeguarding practice, offering oversight, and supporting our small team to deliver safe, high-quality support.
You don’t need to have been a trustee before—just a strong understanding of safeguarding, good judgement, and a genuine desire to make a difference.
Fundraising Committee Volunteers
We’re also looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join a small fundraising group to help us grow our income and reach more families.
This might involve:
Helping to organise local events
- Supporting community fundraising ideas
- Connecting us with local businesses and supporters
- Bringing fresh ideas and energy
- Sourcing raffle prizes
Whether you have lots of experience, were a member of a PTA or have just a bit of time and enthusiasm to give, we’d love to hear from you.
Why It Matters
Every hour you give helps our charity and improve lives for local people.
It helps a parent build confidence.
It helps a child get the best possible start in life.
And right now, that support has never been more needed.
